WEEK 12: DIGITAL STORYTELLING AND TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION

1- Explain how you developed the assessment tool (e.g. Kahoot, Wordwall) activity. First of all, the main objectives were identified in order to assess students' understanding of the course content and their interaction with the material. This step was very important as it forms the basis for the whole assessment. Next, I researched the best practices for creating effective assessment questions. The questions were supposed to be clear, concise and relevant to the objectives. I realized that well-organized questions are crucial for receiving accurate and useful feedback. Thirdly, I developed a list of potential questions focusing on various aspects such as comprehension, application and critical thinking. The preparation of these questions required careful consideration to cover all the necessary areas without challenging the participants too much. After preparing the questions, I reviewed them with my colleagues, whose feedback was really helpful for refining the question...

WEEK 10: GOOGLE SIRVEY: DIGITAL STORYTELLING IN LANGUAGE ARTS ASSESSMENT

1. Explain how you developed the survey activity. How did you decide on the questions/statements? I first developed the survey activity by identifying the key areas I wanted to explore, such as students‘ understanding of digital storytelling elements and their engagement in the lesson. I decided on the questions and statements after I had considered the learning objectives and the specific information I needed to collect. For example, I included questions about students’ understanding of storytelling elements (characters, setting, plot, point of view, conflict, resolution) to directly assess their comprehension. There were also questions about their enjoyment and engagement to measure the effectiveness of the lesson. 2. Do you think that the questionnaire items and the learning objectives are parallel? Can you explain this parallelism by giving 3 examples? Yes, the questionnaire items were designed to be parallel with the learning objectives. Here are three examples of this parallelism...

WEEK 8: COMIC STRIP DEVELOPMENT AND ANALYSIS

1. Describe how you developed ComicStrip activity. I developed the ComicStrip activity by first determining the topic of the story, which was digital storytelling. I chose this topic because it would attract students' interest and meet my learning goals. I then wrote the outline and dialogues, ensuring the story was fluent and understandable. I selected and drew visuals to support the story, making sure they were educational and interesting. Using digital tools like Storyjumper, I created the story digitally, which made it more interactive and visually rich. After completing the story, I received feedback from my peers and teacher, which I used to edit and improve the story. 2.  Do you think that the story of the ComicStrip and your learning objectives are parallel? Yes, the story of the ComicStrip and my learning objectives are parallel. The ComicStrip was designed to teach the elements and process of digital storytelling, which aligns with my learning objectives.   For ex...

WEEK 7: ENHANCING LESSON PLANS AND CANVA ACTIVITIES WITH CHATGPT

1. Describe how you developed your Canva activity. What stage have you reached this week on the Canva activity? What parts of Canva remain to be done? I developed the Canva activity by first focusing on the overall design and purpose. I asked ChatGPT questions about the target audience and learning objectives, such as "How can I create an effective Canva presentation for secondary school students?" This helped shape the content and design. As of this week, the visual design and content organization of the Canva activity are complete. However, I still need to add a few interactive elements and evaluation tools. With ChatGPT's guidance, I have a clear plan on how to complete these remaining parts. 2. Write your learning objectives. Describe how you integrated content knowledge into the lesson plan through Canva. How did you decide on the topic and student’s level? Learning Objectives: Students will understand the key elements of digital storytelling. Students will be able t...
